The Storm of the Century

Posted by brucebooher on February 4, 2010 at 7:27 PM

I sit waiting for tomorrow's big storm. I look forward to the break from the ordinary, getting snowed in with my two sons, and taking lots of photographs. We are in for 18 to 24 inches and that's a big deal around here. It brings the entire state to a stand still.

I uploaded some photographs from my on going project, The Great Frederick Fair. I'm in the process of writing my proposal for a solo exhibition. I figure that I'll have at least two more years to take more photos and put together the show. I'm excited! I've had to spend a lot of time with the photographs that I currently have and give thought to my narrative that gives background to my project. I will post more as time goes on.

There never seems to be enough time. I'm working on another project titled, They're Just Kids (tentative title) and it means obtaining model realeases. This will take a little more time as I still need and want to write a letter of explanation to give to my subjects.

I have one more idea for another project that involves couples and friends. I'm curious about how people have met and how they have maintained those relationships. More to come!

I need to share more about the new mat cutter that I purchased. I'm moving up just a little bit in the world of framing!
